Monte Zappi, also known as Monte Gennaro, is one of the highest peaks of the Lucretili Mountains and is even visible from the Eastern part of Rome.

How to get there:
By car: The most convenient way to get to the meeting point in Marcellina is by car. To optimize and reduce the number of cars, if you are comfortable with sharing a car seat, we can get you in touch with other participants who can provide or a looking for a car ride.
By bus: While it is not possible to get to the starting point by public transport, there is an option to get to the first meeting point in Marcellina by bus. This option can be useful if you have been in touch with other participants who can give you a car lift from Marcellina, but not from Rome.
From the Ponte Mammolo subway station in Rome, take the bus to Marcellina (Cotral bus), which takes one hour (get off at the stop “Via Gramsci”). From there, it’s a short walk to the meeting point.
